It is important that the children are equipped with the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to allow them to make informed decisions about computing. Our curriculum has been influenced by three main elements that we revisit throughout the primary phase. This allows children to make connections and links to previous learning and build knowledge and understanding that is central to them behaving like subject specialists. These are:

Our Computing and ICT Journey

It is important that children are given the opportunity to develop their computing knowledge within curriculum content they are confident in. With this in mind, we link the children’s development tasks to themes covered in our curriculum and co curriculum to give these projects purposeful and authentic contexts.
