British Values
The Government defines “fundamental British Values” as:
- Democracy
- The rule of law
- Individual liberty
- Mutual respect
- Tolerance of those with different faiths
We see these British Values as underpinning what it is to be a citizen in modern and diverse Britain. They allow us to create environments free from discrimination, intolerance and hate. They help us to challenge prejudice and stereotyping whilst strengthening relationships in the community. They are evident with our school in a number of ways, some of which are highlighted below:
