Reception Sept 2021 starters

Dear Parents/Carers

It is a real pleasure to welcome you to Coniston Primary School.   My name is Mrs Gregory, and I will be your child’s class teacher in September.  I am writing to you today to give you an update on your child’s transition to school this year.

As you know, the current situation with coronavirus has meant that we have had to change the way we would normally transition your children into school.  This year, we will be inviting the children to take part in three stay and play sessions in our outdoor area, along with a teddy bear’s picnic in the last week of term (the picnic will be weather and coronavirus restrictions dependent).   These sessions will be a great opportunity for your child to come and meet the adults and some of the children who will be in their class.  We hope that your children will be available for these visits.

In the next week or two, you will also receive the information you need prior to your child starting school.  I will also be contacting everyone by telephone; this will give you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

We are confident that our Early Years provision will offer your child a nurturing and creative learning environment where they will flourish.

If you have any questions please contact the school office at office@conistonprimary.org.uk

We are really looking forward to meeting you all,

Yours sincerely

Mrs Gregory
