Schools in the Patchway/Bradley Stoke area together with local churches are planning a Year 6 It’s your move day on Tuesday 10th July at Patchway Community School, Patchway. Activities include drama, dance, memory box making, den building, drumming, climbing and sport. At the end of the day there will be an assembly to celebrate what the children have been doing which will include some Christian content, very much like a usual school assembly.
Children will be active during the day and need to dress accordingly. We would suggest comfortable clothes and shoes ‐ trainers would be ideal – and come prepared for sports/crafts. Unless the weather is very wet we still plan to hold some activities outside, so wet weather outerwear may be needed.
Please provide a packed lunch for your child. If your child is in receipt of free school meals and you would like us to provide a packed lunch please let the office know by Wednesday 4th July. Children will have a choice of a ham, tuna or cheese sandwich.
The children will need to meet us at Patchway Community School, Patchway, at 9.15am. Children need to be picked up from the school at 3.00pm. If there are problems with these arrangements please contact the office.
This outing is covered by the Local Trips and Outing form you signed at the beginning of the year. If you have any concerns regarding this please contact the school office or speak to Miss Hann.
